Enrollment Procedures

For students who are 3 or 4 years of age by September 1st -apply to chicagoearlylearning.org fill out a profile for your student and your family and list Blair as one of your choices.

For students who require specialized services there are a few different options:

  • Contact your Early Intervention Case Worker to schedule an evaluation with CPS ~Search "Child Find Developmental Screening" dates in Chicago
  • If you would like to request Blair as the school you want your child to be assigned to for the Blended Pre-School, Instructional Pre-School, Instructional Kindergarten or Instructional First Grade- email cpscluster@cps.edu these assignments are made by the School Assignment Team in Central Office.

Blair Early Childhood Center, a Chicago Public School, provides a high quality program that challenges all students within a child-centered, supportive environment. Programs and services are designed to meet the needs of the child and the family, recognizing their diversity and the uniqueness of their needs.

Blair provides educational programs for children with multiple disabilities, including physical disabilities, health impairments, autism, severe/profound cognitive impairments and developmental delays. State of the art teaching techniques are enhanced by augmentative communication devices to provide nonverbal students with a voice to participate in classroom activities.
