We had an AWESOME field trip to the Garfield Park Conservatory. We saw so many beautiful plants and flowers.
We also saw turtles and fish, what a great field trip!

Writing on the board is so cool! We enjoy choosing whatever color pen we want. It helps us to recognize the letter of the week and improves our fine motor skills.

February 08, 2024 100th Day of School
We celebrated our 100th day of school today! We dressed up like centenarians, made a 100 book, made a mix with 100 snacks, and counted to 100!
January 31, 2024 Chicago Children's Museum
What a great day to explore one of Chicago's best museums! Our school was paired with the 7th and 8th grades at Frances Parker, a private school on the North Side of Chicago. The Frances Parker students were an incredible bunch of young people that got on the floor and engaged so well with our young students. We had a blast exploring the 2 levels of the museum, with a special focus on the dinosaur dig room! We capped off our museum visit with lunch at McDonald's. The students of 112 did a phenomenal job of representing Blair out and about. We had a wonderful time and learned so much!

We had a parent- child activity on November 6. We made bird feeders and had a snack!

We were learning about the five senses (sight, smell, taste, touch, and hearing). We did some fun experiments, like taste different things, smell different things, touch things in a mystery box, look at different things, and listen to various sounds. We loved doing the experiment!

We celebrated Patriot Day on Monday September 11. We made sure that we wore red, white, and blue!

We studied letter M for the past two weeks and we did lots of fun activities. We built things with spaghetti and Marshmallows, we made Mice, and on Friday we had Milkshakes!
