Weekly Readings

January 2024: Happy New Year! Here are some awesome photos of the Room 117 Crew. December was a busy month and the kids loved having their parents come for a Christmas party. Mark your calendars for February 5, 2024, which will be our next parent involvement. We have been learning about Arctic animals and Hibernation. We are looking forward to next week when we will be learning Nursery Rhymes. Thank you for all you do.
The Staff in Room 117

We have been very busy learning and having fun at school. We finished up September with an apple taste test. The children chose their favorite apple between yellow, red, and green. Most of the kids picked red! We also did an apple craft that was sent home. Jenna, our speech pathologist, helped us kick off October with ghost bowling. It was boo-rific!   This week we're learning about Fire Safety, and we're looking forward to a visit from Firefighter Matt. Stay-tuned for more pictures!

Below, are a few things to please send with your child each day: 

→ water bottle or individual sippy cup 

→ snack (either daily or a box)

→ ziplock bag with “just in case” clothes including t-shirt, pants, underwear, and socks. Please put your child’s initials on the tag. 

→if needed, at least 3 diapers or pull-ups for the day or send in a pack of diapers along with wipes

If you would like to donate any supplies throughout the year, we would greatly appreciate Clorox wipes, kleenex, ziplock bags (both gallon and sandwich size), straws, paper towels, and mini dixie cups.
