Welcome Back 2023-2024

If they can't learn the way we teach, we teach the way they learn" is a quote that describes our low-incidence classroom perfectly. Our Kindergarten classroom has 11 students. To meet our student's individual academic needs the classroom environment utilizes visual schedules, technology, and hands-on academic activities. Our goal is to support the unique learning needs of our students to maximize independence and build a solid foundation on which to go out into the community and be productive members of society. Our curriculum this year puts an increased focus on letter foundation, handwriting, building words, number sense, and the community around us!

Update 2/29/23: January flew by and we've had a lovely February. Pictures from the parent activity SNO-Much-Fun are in the slideshow! Remember to save your favorites. From arctic animals and hot vs. cold to dental hygiene and black history month we have learned A LOT! We even celebrated Valentine's Day with a fun class party. Can't wait to continue the fun in Kindergarten!

Update 12/22/23: Quarter two is closely coming to an end and we have grown so much since the beginning of the year. Halloween seems like yesterday! November was filled with fall fun, while December had so much holiday spirit. We were so lucky to have Santa visit and donors who gave our Blair stars the sweetest gifts. We hope you enjoy the following slideshow. Don't forget to save your favorites!

Update 10/16/23: Quarter one is closely coming to an end and we had so much fun growing and learning. We built rapport with our Kindergartners all quarter long and our families during our first family involvement activity. We can't wait to see what Quarter 2 has in store!
